How we work
Shea Plumbing is a local, family-owned plumbing service in Kingston. Conor started it because he knows what an unexpected repair does to a household budget, and he wanted customers to know what they're paying before any work starts.
- The price before any work. For a dripping tap or a full repipe: a rough range first, then the exact price by text or email, so it's in writing. Each option is priced, the cheaper one included, and nothing is added that you didn't approve.
- No fee to come out. No call-out fee, day or night. You only pay for work you approve.
- Fixed right, or fixed free. If the same problem comes back within 12 months of our repair, we come back and fix it free.
- We show up when we say. We call ahead, so you know when we're on the way.
- A free plumbing check, every visit. We test your main shut-off, check your water heater's age and relief valve, and look for slow leaks.
- Conor is on every job. Not whoever is on shift.
- Fixed on the first visit wherever we can, so you're not booking a second one.
- We leave it clean. Shoe covers and drop sheets where they're needed, and the work area cleaned up before we go.
None of that is an accident. Here's what usually goes wrong with plumbers, and what we do instead.
What "Red Seal" means
The Red Seal is the interprovincial standard of excellence for skilled trades in Canada. A Red Seal plumber has completed an apprenticeship and passed the national Red Seal exam, which is recognized in every province and territory. Conor is also a Master Plumber.
