What we collect, why, and how to have it removed. The person reading your booking is Conor Ryan, the owner.
What we collect
Booking form: your name, phone number, address or town, what's going on, and the best time to reach you. We use it to call you back, confirm a time and do the job. It's saved in Shea Plumbing's own Google Workspace account (a spreadsheet only Conor Ryan and the people who run this website for him can open) and emailed to Conor Ryan.
Reminder sign-up: your first name and a mobile number or email address. We use it only to send the seasonal reminder you asked for. Every message says how to stop them, or reply STOP.
Phone calls and email: if you call or email us, we keep what we need to do the work and to keep records for the job, the guarantee and our books.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your details.
- We don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
- We don't ask for payment details on this site.
Who else sees it
Google stores the booking spreadsheet and our email on our behalf. Nobody else receives your details unless the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages and ads bring people here. Those tools set cookies. You can block them in your browser without affecting the site.
The postal code checker looks your code up in a list that's part of the page, so what you type stays in your browser. Postal code data: GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
The frozen-pipe forecast on our site fetches Kingston weather from Open-Meteo; that request carries no personal information.
Keeping and deleting it
We keep job records for as long as the guarantee and tax rules require. If you'd like the details you sent through the site removed, email conor@sheaplumbing.net or call (613) 449-1758 and we'll do it.
