Fixture installs and repairs

  • Kitchen and bathroom faucets, including ones you've bought yourself
  • Kitchen, bathroom and laundry sinks
  • Toilets: replacements, running toilets and leaks at the base
  • Shower valves and tub spouts
  • Dishwasher, fridge water line and washing machine hookups
  • Shut-off valves that won't close

Renovation plumbing

Moving a sink, adding a basement bathroom or stripping a bathroom back to the studs: the plumbing has to be planned before the walls close up. We work with you or your contractor on the rough-in, then come back to set the fixtures at the end. We look after the plumbing permit when one is needed.

One of the photos under Recent work below is from one of those jobs: the drain lines run between the joists before the ceiling was closed in.

What to have ready

If you've bought the fixture, keep the box and instructions. Clear out the cabinet under the sink. Know where your main shut-off is. And send a photo when you book, so we can bring the right parts the first time.

Common questions

Can you install a faucet or toilet I bought myself?

Yes. Keep the box and instructions. If the fixture is damaged or missing parts, we'll tell you before we start.

How long does it take to replace a toilet?

Usually an hour or two for a straight swap. It takes longer if the flange or shut-off valve needs replacing too.

Do you do full bathroom renovations?

We do the plumbing: rough-in, drains, supply lines and setting fixtures. For the rest of the renovation, like tile, drywall and electrical, we work alongside your contractor.
